At the Union Rescue Mission we give out about 40 food boxes and supplemental groceries a week to needy families in the Wichita area. We couldn’t do this without your support. Because of community partners, and donors like you, we can reach out to families, single parents, and the elderly with the love of Christ. Usually, the guest gets to “shop” in our cafeteria for food that their family will eat and they know how to cook. Currently, to comply with CDC recommendations, we prepare beforehand a box of pantry staples based on household size and bags of groceries, then they “drive-thru” pick up where we ask them what other needs they have and any prayer requests. It looks different, but people need help right now like never before, and because of your faithfulness, the Mission is there to meet the need. Thank you!

To help, you can give food (pantry staples, canned food and fresh fruits and vegetables), put on a neighborhood food drive or give a monetary donation so we can buy the needed supplies.
