Darkness to Hope

Restoring homeless & hurting lives through God’s love

Providing Rescue, Recovery, Restoration and Re-engagement for men experiencing homelessness, addiction, poverty or other life challenges.

Since 1950, Union Rescue Mission Wichita has worked to offer men experiencing homelessness and the associated challenges, restoration through Christ. Our services and programs help them find healing.

Celebration Day 2022 was a huge success!

Thank you to all of our sponsors, donors, staff and program men for an awesome night of worship, fellowship and thanksgiving for what God has done!  Restoration was the theme, and Dr. Jonathon Hoover of NewSpring Church challenged, Randy Ledbetter lead us in worship, CEO Doug Nolte updated the challenges and triumphs of 2022 and Board Chair Kurt Yowell asked us to consider how we can partner with URM!

Restored B-29 “Doc” is proudly displayed. We love when our men are restored to the Glory of God!

Dr. Jonathon Hoover speaking to Anaias helping restore the Apostle Paul, and the fact that God uses Christ followers to restore as well!

URM Staff, donors, program men were along to celebrate what God is doing at the heart of our ministry!

Nearly 500 guests attended and made this night a huge success! But as we know, God made this night happen!
