25 Jul Building Remodeling Update – 7/25/25

For over five years, the Union Rescue Mission has been planning and raising funds for a HUGE updating and functional remodeling of our facility at 2800 N. Hillside Avenue, Wichita, Kansas. You will not believe what God has done over the past year. Funds have been raised, and construction is nearing completion!

Improvements include:

• A new emergency overnight shelter wing, which never closes, for the homeless men to experience “rescue,” dignity, and the love of Christ.
• New chapel, commons area, remodeled dining room, new “life change stations” in which men live during residential programs, a new bathhouse, new classrooms, and much more!
• Ministry partners have provided for all the furniture, AV equipment, and baptismal in the Chapel, classrooms, and commons area!
